Guitar Club at Explorations Prep
Hello Parents!
Matt Ludlam of Ludlam Dramatics is starting a club for beginner guitar players. Mr L. has been playing for 30 years, but this is the first time teaching anyone other than his own kids. Classes will be every Friday for one hour after school.
I will be making videos for the kiddos to study and watch between class dates.
The Cost for classes is $85 per month or $330 for the entire Spring.
The Kids will learn basic guitar skills:
Tuning your Strings
Changing a broken string.
The basic power chord shape and where to move it to make different chords.
How to play basic rhythm guitar.
Students need to be in 2nd grade or higher.
Student will need:
An Acoustic or Classic Guitar (3/4 size is highly recommended for kids under 5’ tall)
A clip on digital Guitar tuner
Guitar strap
1 spare set of strings.
5 guitar picks
Case for guitar. Soft or hard is ok.
